FIRST CERTIFICATES IN ANIMAL WELFARE
ATO was the first dairy brand to obtain the Animal Welfare Certificate (Welfare Quality) in 2014, certifying its farms and guaranteeing the traceability of its milk.
It’s very simple: ATO farms take care of their cows and guarantee them the best care in food, health and comfort.

ATO cows have specialised nutritionists who are responsible for ensuring their complete and balanced diet, in order to guarantee the quality of our milk.
This certificate values comfort during rest, thermal comfort, ease of movement and, of course, good health.
ATO makes sure the cows are comfortable. Each one has its own space, an air conditioned system on special bedding to ensure they rest well.
For farmers, their cows are another member of their family. That’s why they take good care of them, guaranteeing their positive emotional state.
ATO goes one step further with a dual commitment: animal welfare and 100% milk traceability. This means that ATO Natura milk solely and exclusively comes from farms certified with Animal Welfare and located in Catalonia.
